The ICC Institute of World Business Law acts as a think-tank working closely with ICC's International Court of Arbitration and ICC policy commissions. Once a year, the Institute holds its Annual Meeting where some of the world's leading legal experts gather to share knowledge and expertise on a chosen topical issue. The topic for 2010 was "Is arbitration only as good as the arbitrator?: Status, powers and role of the arbitrator". 

    One of the aims of this conference is to create doctrine, the result of which is now compiled in an annual publication: "Dossier of the ICC Institute".
